How to be a Writer. It’s easier and harder than you think.
Actually I’m not really going to tell you how to write. As Dean Koontz said: “In the end we are our own best teachers, and the only way to learn how to write is to write.”
What I’m going to do is share my writing process and let you take whatever is useful for your own process. It won’t be a step by step description, rather a series of random reflections from my current journal and from a book I published a few years ago titled On Being A Writer (originally titled How to Write or More Importantly How to be a Writer) which was collated from an earlier day by day blog that is not longer extant.
